*Figure Sculpting Classes and Workshops*
Cherrylion Studios Atlanta GA
- Mr. Chambers teaches three figurative sculpture classes weekly at Cherrylion studios in Atlanta Georgia. The 10 week class includes work on gesture and anatomy and overall composition using water based clay. Students sculpt from a provided live model but are also encouraged to develop their own style and can work on individual projects. Instruction is one on one and developed to cater to the needs of each student from beginner to professional artist. Students will sculpt two finished pieces from each 10 week session and may attend an open studio day after each session at Cherrylion to apply finishes to their fired piece. Anatomy for Sculpture, Santa Teresa, Costa Rica
- Mr. Chambers offers one four day anatomy sculpting workshop annually in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. The intensive workshop covers anatomy and underlying bone structure and how they work together to move and stabilize the human figure. Students sculpt an anatomical model in oil based clay on a provided 18" armature. Finished pieces are not the goal of this workshop but students are allowed to take the pieces they have worked on during the workshop.
